The Real Man is the sixth episode of Season 1 of The Real O'Neals.


Kenny wants to go camping with Jimmy and his dad, but they don't think he's going to like it. Meanwhile, Eileen has Father Phil come over to answer Shannon's questions about her faith.





  • In addition to Shannon's big secret about being a thief, she is revealed to be an Atheist in this episode. However, she becomes reprogrammed by the end of the episode.
  • The movie Wild, is referenced to multiple times throughout this episode.
  • Shannon gets a job in this episode, working for a pretzel store called Tilly Ramsay's.
  • Tilly Ramsay's is not actually a real restaurant. It's a fictional restaurant, invented for the show. The title of the restaurant is named after Gordon Ramsay's daughter, Matilda Ramsay, who is a cook who makes food, which of course, includes pretzels.
  • At the end of the episode, when Jimmy is excited to see Reese Witherspoon naked, he says "Alright, it's time to see Reese's pieces." This is a reference to the candy, Reese's Pieces.
